Paul Alexander have an exciting opportunity for an eager Mortgage Administrator to join a team of five Mortgage Consultants to provide administrative support. This is a new position within the organisation which we see as a pivotal role moving forward..

The Role:

  • Ensuring acceptance terms and mortgage offers are received as promptly as possible and checking these against application/illustration
  • Issuing “General Insurance” quotes to clients
  • The compliance checking of the Mortgage Consultants files and chasing them for any outstanding documents when required
  • Accurately chasing all Solicitors, Agents and Clients to ensure accuracy in reporting on when mortgage and clients purchases will be completed
  • Answering the telephone including checking messages and dealing with general queries
  • Organisation of daily workload
  • Successful networking between members of the team
  • Proactively support colleagues as dictated by changing workload demands
  • Inputting Client information onto our CRM system (The Key)
  • Ensuring all mortgage information is kept updated and accurate
  • Full administration of all ongoing cases
  • Uploading documents to cases
  • Liaising with Lenders, Insurance Providers, Solicitors and Clients and issuing the suitability and demand needs letters
  • Maintaining a database of clients and liaising and updating the Marketing department so newsletters can go out

Essential role related knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience at selection

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Evidence of a commitment to the financial industry

Preferred but not essential as full training will be provided: -

  • Mortgage qualifications
  • Mortgage administration experience
  • Knowledge of life and mortgage related products
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (The Key, Trigold, Assurweb)

This role offers a basic salary of £18,000 plus discounted membership at the exclusive Park Club as well as monthly staff events organised by our social committee.
